Dr Babak Sanadgol, MD, FRANZCR
Dr Sanadgol completed his radiology training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and became a Fellow of the Australia and NZ college of Radiology in 2015. He then undertook a postgraduate fellowship in Neuro, Musculoskeletal and Body MRI at Westmead Hospital in 2016; followed by a second post graduate fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Royal North shore Hospital, Sydney in 2017. He has also undertaken advanced clinical and research MSK MRI training at University of California, San Diego, further enhancing his international clinical perspective.
He possesses extensive clinical experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology, having interpreted a substantial volume of MRI studies and performed a wide spectrum of image-guided procedures. His practice is characterised by a high degree of diagnostic accuracy, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centred care. He demonstrates comprehensive experience across a broad range of clinical indications and collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary teams, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and clinical governance.
He has contributed to the academic domain through peer-reviewed publications and has held appointments as a university lecturer, reflecting a sustained commitment to medical education and the advancement of clinical knowledge. While adhering to established clinical guidelines, he exercises judicious, patient-specific decision-making to optimise diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes. His practice is underpinned by a rigorous academic framework, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine, critical appraisal of the literature, and the integration of contemporary research into clinical decision-making, ensuring alignment with best practice standards.
He is currently Chief Radiologist and Director of Advicon Imaging.

- Neuroimaging/Head& neck MRI (including advanced neuro imaging: MR spectroscopy, MR perfusion and CSF flow study)
- Body imaging MRI (including hepatobiliary, adrenal, pancreas, kidney, small bowel, gynaecology and rectal cancer staging MRI)
- Musculoskeletal imaging and comprehensive Interventional Radiology.
Dr Maddie Gorji, MD, FACD, FRCPA, Dip ICDP-UEMS
Dr Gorji serves as Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, bringing a rare combination of clinical expertise and strategic leadership to the organization. As a specialist clinician and highly experienced Anatomical Pathologist, she has built a distinguished career in diagnostic medicine, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality assurance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
A key contribution to the field has been her development of an innovative radiology–pathology integration model. This approach bridges traditionally fragmented disciplines, enabling more precise correlation between imaging findings and tissue diagnosis. By aligning radiological insight with pathological confirmation, the model significantly enhances diagnostic accuracy, reduces ambiguity, and supports clinicians in making more informed, timely decisions for patient care. This work reflects her broader commitment to advancing diagnostic standards and improving clinical outcomes through system-level innovation.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Gorji is deeply engaged in the academic and professional community. She serves as a peer reviewer for leading medical journals, a role that underscores her recognized authority in diagnostic medicine and her commitment to maintaining rigor and integrity in clinical research. Her contributions help shape evolving standards and ensure the dissemination of high-quality, evidence-based knowledge within the field.
In her capacity as CEO, she is responsible for setting the strategic vision and governance framework of the company. She leads organizational growth by overseeing operations, guiding stakeholder engagement, and driving the development of services that meet the evolving needs of clinicians and healthcare systems. Her leadership emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, particularly strengthening integration between radiology and pathology services to deliver cohesive, end-to-end diagnostic solutions.
