High-Quality Imaging for Better Healthcare

Description of X-Ray and OPG Services

Our state-of-the-art digital low-dose x-ray machine produces images of specific areas of the body using a minimal amount of x-ray radiation. The machine passes this radiation through your body, allowing us to capture images of bones, joints, soft tissues, and other internal structures.

An Orthopantomogram (OPG) offers a panoramic view of the teeth and jaw, providing comprehensive insight for dentists and oral surgeons.

Preparation and Procedure for X-Ray and OPG

Most X-Ray and OPG scans do not require special preparation. However, our radiographers may ask you to change into a gown before the examination and to remove eyeglasses or any metallic objects. Depending on the type of examination, you may be asked to stand, sit, lie down, or assume a weight-bearing position.

The image acquisition process is very fast, typically taking only a few seconds. It is crucial that you inform our staff if you are or may be pregnant before the X-Ray examination. Appointments are not necessary for X-Ray examinations.
